Dream Diver

Project Overview

     Even though Dream Diver is an action game, it is also designed for players to explore the world. We want players to understand the world setting in the game, to feel the character, fight with her, and find out the ultimate truth.

     Thus, each level of Dream Diver will be centered around one story under the background story.

     As players move along the game, more information will be offered and gathered, leading players to prepare for the final boss of the game, which is also the ultimate mystery of the game.

My Contribution


          - Lead the narrative design of the theme and background story
          - Mechanism design and player-object interaction design in the game
          - 2D art and animation creation (not yet used in the demo)
          - Design main idea for each level for level design
          - Write narrative background and interactable context in the game


Notes: Main character and its animation is not designed by me.
             Backgrounds and landscape elements are assest from Unity store.

    A demo of an interactable object in the game, offers clues in different languages, including English, Chinese, and Japanese.
     
     Blocks will be replaced by more meaningful art later.

Future Plan for My Work:

          - Implement more levels with different themes and stories

          - Revise and Complete the design and implementation of the interactable objects

          - Provides fluent and complete story throughout the game

          - Create and finish monster design for each level
